Continuing its long-standing San Diego tradition, the 54th annual San Diego Bay Parade of Lights promises to dazzle and entertain bayfront crowds during 2 evenings on December 8 and December 15, 2024 and will pass along Seaport Village at approximately 7:15pm. Participants in this year's highly anticipated holiday boat parade will decorate their boats to the theme Christmas Traditions from Around the World. Through a lively multimedia presentation, Kausen will share personal stories about his grandfather’s collaboration with Ted Geisel (Dr. Seuss) to bring the beloved characters of Seuss's masterpiece to life. He'll discuss how Chuck Jones's animation genius, combined with Geisel's vision and direction, transformed the Grinch into an iconic animated film and helped shape a legacy that continues to inspire generations.
