Sights and Sips at Sunset

I have blogged about our neighbor Hornblower before. I heart them so!

Are you looking for something a little different come happy hour time? Hornblower has it. They call it Sights & Sips Sunset Cruises. I had the privlege of boarding the Hornblower Sunset Cruise this past Friday. I was not disappointed!

They greet you with a glass of champagne. Yes, please!

They had fun upbeat music playing throughout the boat. Made the atmosphere very festive. I meant to take a video so you could hear the music in the background. You will have to use your imagination!

The cruise has a plethora of appetizers: veggies, chips, breadsticks, chili cheese Fritos (my personal favorite. ha!)

They also had people walking around with trays that included shrimp cocktail shooters, veggie egg rolls with a delicious dipping sauce, gourmet corn dogs and for dessert... chocolate covered strawberries and cookies!

They have two cash bars with very friendly bartenders! I partook in their Big Bay Raspberry Press. It was YUM. Several specialty drinks to choose from. Loved the names of the cocktails!

And of course the main event... the views!

And even though the dreaded June Gloom was in full effect, we did get a glimpse of a sunset...

Everyone on the boat was nice, accommodating and oh so very friendly. After a long work week this was an awesome way to unwind. I would recommend it. Get all the details on Hornblower's site. A fun thing to do with friends or your significant other.

And while the food was good it did not fill you up... so head on over to Seaport Village after and partake in a nice dinner overlooking the bay you just cruised on. Oh, how nice to be neighbors!

Let the Happy Hour roll, Boardwalk Betty

PS- I would like to point out that I walked from Seaport Village to the Hornblower, short 5 minute walk.
