July 4th at Seaport Village

Another 4th of July is upon us with lots of fun activities at Seaport Village. If you’re planning on coming to the village to watch the Big Bay Boom fireworks, then you’ll need some details to make sure your independence day is magical!

Here is your guide for the perfect 4th of July at Seaport Village:

PARKING

Parking gets hectic on 4th of July here at Seaport Village.  So, first and foremost I recommend that you take the trolley down.  It’s cheaper and much more convenient for you.  You can get off on the Seaport Village exit and walk on over.

If you would like to drive and park at the Seaport Village parking lot, make sure to arrive early as spots fill up fast and early.  Here are the rates for parking at the Seaport Village lot on the 4th of July.

ENTERTAINMENT

In honor of July 4th, we will have 2 bands performing at the gazebo. The first band- Midnight Heat- will be performing from 1pm-4pm and the second band- Windy City- will finish off the night performing from 4:45pm-8pm.  Stop by the gazebo and dance a little!

In the food court, we will have Nadro John performing his flamenco guitar from 12pm-4pm.

Aside from our usual amazing bands, we will also be hosting 105.7 The Walrus radio station at Seaport Village.  The Walrus will be broadcasting live from the village and giving away prizes throughout the day.  They’ll be set up by Harbor House near the boardwalk. Stop by and say hi to them.  The Walrus will also be broadcasting the music that the fireworks are synched to at 9pm, so make sure to tune in!

Note- The restaurants on property, Harbor HouseEdgewater Grill, and SD Pier Cafe will not be accepting reservations in order to remain fair to everyone.  If you’d like a nice view of the fireworks or if you’d just like to have dinner at the restaurants, make sure to arrive early to get a table.

Alamo Flags located inside Seaport Village will be giving away 500 3x5 American flags on July 4th.  Stop in their store and grab one before they're all gone!

I can’t stress this enough, but if you’d like to get a good view of the fireworks, arrive early and secure your spot.  The fireworks are launched from several locations around the bay.

I hope you have a safe 4th of July with your loved ones.  Please drink responsibly and be sure to pass the keys to the designated driver in your group.  Alcohol is not permitted outside of the food court at Seaport Village.

See you on the 4th!
