Cool Globes: Hot Ideas for a Cooler Plant

Have you heard about this? Cool Globes? They really are interesting so you should. Right now, in and around the San Diego Natural History Museum in Balboa Park, is a traveling exhibition of globes artfully rendered to illustrate the diverse consequences of global warming.

Called “Cool Globes: Hot Ideas for a Cooler Planet,” the public art display features 42 large fiberglass globes, each created by a national or local artist. Each artists rendering reflects a solution to the problem of global warming.

How does this relate to Seaport Village you may ask? Well, 15 of these interesting and important globes are going to be on display HERE starting in the month of December.

As if you needed another reason to come down!
