A San Diego Tradition

It's not a surprise; San Diego's weather is not conducive to that "cold weather holiday spirit". We may not have the cold weather but San Diegans do a nice job of making their own warm weather holiday traditions. And one of my favorites is the San Diego Bay's Parade of Lights. If you aren't familiar, over 100 boats deck themselves out in lights, music and holiday decor. Then they parade along the Big Bay. It is so much fun! And Seaport Village is the perfect viewing location. I would say the boats sail by Seaport Village around 7:30 pm. The parade is always 2 Sunday's in December. This year is it December 14th & 21st. So after you surf with our Santa this Sunday, you can stay and watch the boats.

Here is one of my favorites from last year!
