Winners of the 2012 Seaport Village Holiday Decorating Contest

We here at Seaport Village had a friendly holiday decorating contest.  The holidays are fun, right?  So we thought we would have fun!  Stores decorated for the season and last night the judges went around and picked the winners.  There were 3 categories: Best Overall, Most Traditional & Most San Diegan.  After much deliberation the winners were chosen.  So without further ado... The winners of the 2012 Seaport Village Hoiday Decor Contest are...

Best Overall: Ben & Jerry's AKA Santa's Workshop.

Not only did they decorate their store to look like Santa's workshop but they are also helping Santa out by collecting Toys for Tots this holiday season. Stop by Ben & Jerry’s in Seaport Village to make a difference in the life of a child this holiday season. The Marine Toys for Tots Foundation will be collecting toys for children in the community from November 24 through December 16. Bring a new, unwrapped toy to the Ben & Jerry’s location and receive a scoop of ice cream for just $1.00.  How awesome is that?!

Most Traditional- The Village Hat Shop

At first glance you may not think it is the most traditional but a beautiful gingerbread house, baked with love, is one of the most loved traditions around.  Well played Village Hat Shop.  Well played.

Really, all of the decorations are great in their own special way.  But the only way you will ever know that is if you come down to Seaport Village and check it out for yourself.

Happy Holidays,
