2011 Whale Days

Last year I had the opportunity to go whale watching aboard The Hornblower. You can read about my adventure here. It was a thrilling experience that I think everyone should be afforded.

We are lucky to live in San Diego where we have access to boats that will take us out to see these beautiful marine mammals. And if you have not taken advantage, NOW is the time.

Seaport Village belongs to an Embarcadero Marketing Committee. Basically the businesses that make up the Embarcadero have gotten together to help create buzz for our area. To make YOU people more aware of the amazing things there are to do down here!

These brilliant marketing minds came up with Whale Days, which will be taking place next weekend, Saturday January 22nd. We are moving on up and this year as we will be located in the new Port Pavilion on Broadway Pier. Fancy! Yes, Seaport Village will be there. Giving out balloons, pirate hats and VIP Shopping Passes. In fact, there will be a lot of deals going on. A kids obstacle course, an ATM prize machine, live music, face painting and so much more will round out this fun event. Best part, it is all FREE. So come down, check it our for yourself! Below is a press release about the event.
